It went very well. The Friends recorded 22 attendees in all including children. They also received a very kind donation.
I must thank Jorella for organising it and everyone who pitched in to help somehow. The birds were singing in the trees and the pond is looking good now.
The Friends and the Trust are doing an excellent job looking after the Green. In addition to the monthly work days there are also spontaneous volunteers who do litter picking and other tasks using their own initiative, thank you so much.
