I couldn’t resist trying one of this place’s smash burgers on the opening day.
I went for their take on a Juicy Lucy, which I’ve not seen outside its original home of Minneapolis. There the burger is - in a very healthy manner! - stuffed with cheese before being cooked. Here it was more of a burger-cheese sandwich but it was still very tasty.
I got an opening day discount and think Ali the owner intends to keep prices reduced for the next few days at least.
But the regular price of £6 for a (very large!) burger and £8 for a meal deal with fries and drink seemed pretty reasonable to me for this quality of burger.
