same..I feel depressed seeing all that plastic looking ‘stuff’ in that wonderful space.
I only drank there once but I’m sad of the loss of Wetherspoons for those in the area who would go for an affordable meal and somewhere warm to meet their friends/read a newspaper and not pay a premium for a drink alcoholic or otherwise
I had a chance to visit again yesterday and they were almost ready to open with some last minute details and cleaning going on, so I do look forward to seeing it open later today.
I understand they already have plenty of bookings, so that’s a great sign.
I even got a chance to climb around the frame (though I resisted coming down the slides).
There will also be a bonus offer in the front atrium area that will be open to the public. I won’t reveal the secret yet … but many of us will be extremely grateful for the other new offering that will arrive along with Gambado, particularly next summer
You can use the slides if accompanying a child. Was good to go today and have a look around. It was very very busy . And that’s all you can hope for a new business
