This very context is a great place to point out just how valuable our community is. If a conversation about recommendations happens between FHS members we can know that it is a real social network of ‘human’ persons and not a bot.
It sounds crazy to say it but we are on the cusp of being overrun by AI powered bots with extremely persuasive language skills and the ability to mimic and interact with people and topics.
We need to appeal to our communities that the benefit of being a verified member of a local civic society can establish trusted conversations by people not bots.
I understand this is not the topic area to discuss this ‘officially’ but as I have met @JAMIE1982 and I trust his opinion I thought this was a lovely opportunity to value and celebrate our human social network.
