I’ve been asked for a recommendation of a local restaurant that offers take-away or delivery of Indian food. Unfortunately I’m not a regular user so don’t have any suggestions other than the Babur (is there still a Babur-related take away?)
Do you have any suggestions I can offer?
SPARSH are great, you can also order Dishoom on Deliveroo, however, they don’t have a restaurant in FH.
Babur does indeed do takeaway/delivery, but it’s best from their ‘restaurant menu’ rather than the ‘to go menu’, which is a very standard Indian menu
Babur are good but I’d plump for Millenium in Sydenham (I often do). Deleiveries only, but they come to SE23 https://millenniumsydenham.co.uk/

Sparsh is good but its quite a modern menu. Me and my friends often visit penge masala. They’ve won awards. Very well priced and more of a traditional menu.
Babur via restaurant, hands down the best IMO. Ganapati in Peckham runner up.
I’d like to recommend Saka Maka. Been using them for a few years and consistently good. They’re not your usual standard menu and have a very good menu. I believe they also have a new restaurant in Sydenham I am yet to try.
