A member recently contacted us wondering if anyone recognised this particular location on Brockley Rise?
If you do, you’ve probably lived here quite a while as this was taken in 1965.
Any guesses what this address / location is today?

It’s opposite the end of Whatman Road.
It was pretty much my view every school day from 1971 when I was waiting for a 171 or 141 bus at the stop between there and the bottom of Agnew Road, where I lived.

Where you getting the bus to Haberdashers’ Aske’s?
No, I was changing at New Cross to get a 36 to Archbishop Tenison’s Grammar at the Oval.
I did have the option of getting the less-frequent 36a at the bottom of Honor Oak Park but the queue was always much longer there; and I hated going to school enough, without that particular added irritation so early in my day.
