You’d expect that headline to relate to all types of property, or at least to flats or houses, but it’s only about room prices - “Average room rents in Forest Hill fell by eight per cent to £874 per month, it found, down from £946 the previous year”.
Click-bait!
I asked a local estate agent whose view I always trust, and he made a couple of points - firstly that rents have risen so much that it was only a matter of time before there was some sort of correction. Though he added that he would say they are more steady than falling.
