Freddy's Blossom Walk

A new piece of signage recently appeared inside the Codrington Hill entrance of Blythe Hill Fields. It shows the route of Freddy’s Blossom Walk. This 5 mile route is a crowdfunded memorial consisting of street trees which will be in bloom in time for the date of Freddy’s birthday, the 23rd April.

This is one of the most compelling projects of recent times because it gives us a voice to acknowledge the grief of losing a family member.

This touches the face of SE23 in such a beautiful way.
