Has This Forum Been Linked on Facebook?

Would seem a shame if it hasn’t considering how much interest it could potentially generate on all the Forest Hill appreciation pages they have on there.

There is a page, but we don’t use it.

What sort of connection were you thinking of?

One of the key benefits of this site is that it is NOT Facebook or owned by one of those tech behemoths, so we have our own space, so keen to move the conversation over here rather than build a presence there.

We do share content there from time to time though

Nothing official, as I respect your privacy/independence and I’m not presenting myself as a social media agent, just a local suggesting an avenue to attract further interest in this forum. I remember the SE23.Live message board and they attracted a lot of interest via Facebook. Just a suggestion, nothing more.

I set up the Fab Forest Hill group on Facebook on a whim back in 2015, which has some 9,500 or so members now. I have mentioned this forum several times on there since it was set up a few months ago, as I think the conversation here can often be more thoughtful. But there are some benefits to the scale of Facebook groups - recent posts about the mural and the new Horniman cafe attracted 2-3,000 views.
