Very occasionally, something unusual happens on the railway … the Overground trains of the Windrush Line do not turn off at New Cross Gate, but they go straight on to London Bridge.
This is happening again this weekend and it is only the third time (I think) that this has ever happened and you could try it yourself.
I did it the first time it happened (photos below) and I realise it is a bit ‘geeky’ but then it is also something that is unusual enough that you, or maybe your kids, might think is fun to have experienced.
**BTW, this is because of engineering works this weekend, so be aware that this will affect trains and Windrush for other destinations.
