I understand from a friend in the area that there is an overturned car on the stretch of Perry Vale between the Mayow Road roundabout and the Forest Hill Bistro. It is probably best to avoid that route - lots of police presence.
I hear (reported from the Police on site) that this was not actually speeding, but an older driver who somehow managed to crash at regular speed and still overturn the car - which is a scary sounding thing.

The idea that roll overs only occur at speed is a complete myth, and can in fact happen at very low speed. Parking with your wheels facing out is a large contributing factor to such accidents, far more so than speed..
Hoping the driver is OK and all damaged items can be replaced.
Agreed. I understand that this was exactly the case (where a moving car hits a parked car but their wheels come into contact … which sends the car up in the air).
