Visited it when it started on Sunday night. Really has become a no go area now, es especially with the lights over in the retail park too.
Wonder how long it will be shut for this time!

356 bus is diverting via Woolstone Road.
Looks like a fair bit of resurfacing is needed once the repair is complete. Maybe not quite on the level Bromley has seen lately which is a relief!
As of Thursday evening, water no longer flowing but still a big hole in the road. Pavement slabs have also slightly buckled but I don’t know if re-laying them is part of the road repair. I assume 356 bus is still on diversion.
I would definitely make a loud point to Thames Water, Lewisham Council and the councillors about the pavement now, before the road repair is underway.
While they are working on it they are accountable. The road already has blue markings of where they intend on repairing. So if there is nothing on the pavement it’s likely been overlooked.

I’m thinking of popping into the Perry Vale councillors’ surgery at Sydenham Garden tomorrow, and will definitely raise this

I was there a few days ago. A couple of police directing traffic would have helped: one in Perry Rise and one in Bell Green.
