Street art in the area!

Hi there, having a pre wedding shoot this weekend and would love to know all your favourite street art spots in the area! SE23 or SE4 probably as far as we’d go.

good question - there’s not a great deal around here, at least not compared to some neighbouring areas, and some of the good ones we had have sadly disappeared.

My thoughts are:

The Forest Hill station mural (of course)

The mural on the side of The Foresters Arms (ex All Inn One)

I also enjoy this one, though not that accessible, on Lennard Road in Sydenham

This has to be one of my favourites (since discovering it last year)

Definitely not a lot around here though, and of course street art is a very personal thing.

Penge has some amazing art, definitely worth a quick bus or train journey.

Apologies for the screenshots, but some of the fab bits in Penge.

There is this on Brockley Rise

HOP station

And over the road, the bridge parapets are an early piece by William Mitchell (need some TLC)

There are some more pieces of his in Ladywell https://www.heritageoflondon.org/projects/foxborough-gardens-murals

I think there’s a (new looking?) mural by Supermundane at the entrance to Havelock Walk, I haven’t a picture available, but it’s unmissable.

This one?

Granted it’s in SE26, but at the back of the Greyhound on Kirkdale - even better when you zoom in

That’s the exact location, but that one has gone quite awhile ago.

This is how it looked by May 2025.

Whoops. Someone’s not been paying attention

Local musician Maxi Priest in Honor Oak (but still SE23 I think)
