I just want to say a few words about Forest Hill’s very own The Dovetail Joint, from whom we bought our kitchen back in 2018.
Pete, who owns the business, and Laurie, who does much of the fabrication and installation came back today, after Pete had suggested it when I bumped into him some time ago, to neaten up anything that needed snagging for us.
There was a cupboard door that never quite closed, a drawer that always rubbed against its neighbour, some bits of woodwork where the paint had rubbed off or been damaged by steam or water leaks, a pull out cabinet that was sticking, and a couple of bits of plinth where the cats had somehow managed to shove them out of the way so they could crawl under the cupboards.
For no charge, Pete and Laurie spent the morning here neatening things up and fixing every problem, and our kitchen now looks brand new and sparkling again.
The Dovetail Joint were much cheaper than other bespoke kitchen suppliers when we took extensive quotes, and I really don’t think you’d get that level of service from a much more expensive establishment either.
So a hearty recommendation from me, should you need a new kitchen, or other cabinetry in your home.
