I was pleased with this London skyline sunset from the top of Westwood Park last night.
It made me wonder what everyone’s favourite views are around the neighbourhood?

the view over Forest Hill from behind the clock in the tower of Christ Church is pretty cool. the clock is also a window

Just outside FH by a few yards, the view as you come down Sydenham Hill to Sydenham Rise where you can see the London skyline.
There’s also some nice views from Honor Oak Road as well looking east.

I have a few..I must say I’m fond of the view looking north from the bridge at Forest Hill statation because that view means I’m nearly home.
I love the view from the top of Sydenham Hill and also at the Junction at the top of Honor Oak road looking towards Peckham,
Horniman gardens view across London obviously and lastly I love the view from my bedroom window where I can see Canary Wharf, One tree Hill and in the winter I get a glimpse of the O2 Arena…I also get a view across Honor Oak and all the different houses layered up and the streets rise and dip…I never get bored of it..

I’ve never looked at it with my own eyes, but I’ve seen pics of the view from One Tree Hill which are also amazing.

I go up there on my morning walks and have a series of photos of the same view in different circumstances, like these from today and a couple of months ago

Is this your flat ? I’ve always wondered what is behind the clock tower .
No it isn’t mine, I just visited the tower once during a local history walking tour that I ran a couple of years ago.
